Easthall Park, a Fully Mutual Housing Co-operative is a not for profit Registered Social Landlord operating in the Easthall and Kildermorie area of Easterhouse, Glasgow and is 100% controlled and run by tenants.
Easthall Park Housing Co-operative provides housing and support services to tenants in the Easthall and Kildermorie area of Easterhouse.
The Co-operative's main aim that can be summed up as follows:
To Contribute to the Regeneration of Easterhouse.
Membership
In a Fully Mutual Co-operative all tenants must be members of the Co-operative. A payment of £1 ensures you have full membership and one share in Easthall Park Housing Co-operative.
As a tenant you have rights and responsibilities as stated on your occupancy agreement known as the Scottish Secure Tenancy.
All members are shareholders in the Co-operative and have the opportunity to determine how the Co-operative is run and at each Annual General Meeting members elect a Management Committee made up of tenants to oversee the running of the Co-operative.
We are always looking for new members to contribute their ideas and expertise. If you feel nervous or unsure about becoming involved, DON'T BE - you will receive training and support from the committee and staff. Remember everyone would have felt that way at some point.
All we ask is that you are willing to say what you feel.
If you become a Committee Member, it is a responsible position but also a rewarding one. You have the opportunity of making decisions that matter for the benefit of the Community.
