Bulky items needing uplifted?

If you have any bulky items to be removed from your home there are a few ways to report this, you can:

•Contact National Re-use who take items such as beds, sofas, tables, chairs and bikes that are in good condition, could be re-used. If they haven't been left outside and sofas and armchairs still have the necessary fire labels please donate. Call 0800 0665 820

 

•Take your bulky items to the recycling centre at:

•Request a Bulky Waste Collection from Glasgow City Council on 0141 287 9700  or use the website https://www.glasgow.gov.uk or on your smartphone log into the MyGlasgow app

                     

 

Some of the bulky waste items that the Council will collect are:

•Mattresses and Beds

•Chair and Settee

•Carpeting

•Fridges/Freezers

•Televisions

•Vacuum Cleaners/Hoovers

The Council will collect bulky waste items within 28 days of processing your request.

 

Some items are chargeable items:

•Baths (cast iron)

•Boilers, Water Tanks, Central Heating Systems and Radiators

•Bricks, Rubble, Concrete, Slabs, Tiles

•Brick Fireplaces and Hearths

•Bunkers / Coal

•Garage doors - we do not collect metal garage doors

•GreenhouseS, Sheds and Huts

•Soil and Tree trunks

•Storage Heaters - where they do not contain asbestos

•Windows and Window Frames
