Making a Difference Award
Each September at our Annual General Meeting we consider nominatins for an award entitled “making a difference” award which we give to residents of the community.
The award involves asking local residents to nominate an individual who has made a significant and positive contribution in the community.
Do you know someone who has made a difference to your life or others in the community?
The aim of the award is to recognise and celebrate the “unsung heroes” who make a real difference to our community.
Congratulations to three young people Hannah Johnston, Ebony Patton and Teigan Dunachie who won the "making a differnce award" in 2018 as these young people voluinteer every week in the Glenburn Centre.
To nominate an individual please complete an application form and return it to the office. Closing date for applications is the last Monday in August at 5.00pm.
