Festive Period Bin Uplifts

Glasgow City Council have contacted Easthall Park to notify us that they will shortly be writing to all residents with regards to the bin uplift timetable over the festive period.
These letters will only go to residents who present their wheeled bins to the kerbside, to confirm the uplift schedule. Residents who are affected by a change to their bin collection dates due to the Christmas and New Year holidays will be sent a letter which includes a table to show the new date on which they should present their bin for uplift, due to the festive public holidays. If you receive one of these letters, please take note of the change of dates.
Please note that residents with bins located in back courts will not receive letters or calendars as the Council collect these bins on their behalf.
The letters contain information reminding residents of what can and cannot be placed in each bin. Please take note of this, because your bin may not be uplifted if it has been filled with the wrong materials.
While the Council will continue the bulk uplift service during the festive season, we would like to encourage residents to play your part and make use of the Household Waste and Recycling Centres for any excess festive waste or bulk items where possible.
During the holiday period, the council’s website, www.glasgow.gov.uk/recycling will be updated daily to confirm the status of collections in each area. Residents should check this in the first instance should you have questions regarding your bin collections.
