Repairs Operative - Joiner

EVH Grade TAS 6 - £34,745 £35,866

(Equivalent to £19.09 - £19.70 per hour)

 

We are looking to appoint a Plumber to attend to re-active and planned major repairs in the Association’s housing stock.

 

Easthall Park Housing Association is situated in the north-east of Glasgow in Easterhouse and we own and manage 694 properties of mixed stock type.

 

We established an in-house Trade Team in 2024 and have significantly improved our performance, customer satisfaction levels and achieved best value for money in the delivery of our repair service.  If you are a qualified plumber and feel you can make a difference in maintaining and improving our tenants’ homes and our properties, we would encourage you to apply for the post of Repairs Operative (Plumbing) in our Trade Team.

 

Details of the Post:

 

The successful candidate should possess a trade qualification and have experience working in re-active, cyclical and planned major repairs.  You should have a good knowledge of current Health & Safety.

 

You should have experience in a manual working environment and be able to work to deadlines; be customer focused and be able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders; and have a driving license.  You should be able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team, be conscientious; have a pleasant friendly manner; and be flexible in your approach to achieve a high quality and responsive repairs service.
