Repairs Operative - Joiner
EVH Grade TAS 6 - £34,745 - £37,696
(Equivalent to £19.09 - £20.71 per hour)
Easthall Park Housing Association is looking for an experienced and motivated Joiner to join our in-house Trade Team.
Easthall Park Housing Association is based in Easterhouse in the north-east of Glasgow and owns and manages 695 homes of mixed stock type.
This is an exciting time to join Easthall Park as we continue to develop our in-house service and increase the range of reactive, void, cyclical and planned maintenance works delivered directly by our Trade Team.
Established in 2024, our Trade Team has already contributed to improved repairs performance, tenant satisfaction and value for money. We are now looking for the right person to help us build on that success as we move into the next stage of developing the service.
As our Repairs Operative - Joiner, you will undertake a varied range of joinery works across our housing stock, helping us maintain and improve tenants' homes while delivering a high-quality, responsive and customer-focused service.
Details of the Post
The successful candidate will be a suitably qualified Joiner with experience of delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance work. Experience across reactive repairs, voids, cyclical works and planned maintenance would be particularly advantageous.
You will have a good working knowledge of current health and safety requirements and be comfortable working independently as well as part of a small in-house team.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, communicates well with tenants and colleagues, can manage their workload effectively and shares our commitment to providing an excellent service.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
Experience of fire-door inspection, maintenance or installation would be advantageous, although training and development opportunities can be considered for the right candidate.
